Gathering at Manda's house

No parents+Big house = Party all night with drinks!

Right. Manda's parents went to Indonesia for some company trip. So we decided to have a meet up at her place in Sg. Long. And her house is so freaking far from the Sg. Long entrance. Had to cross the 'hills' to get there.

It was just me, Yee, Nickie, Laine, Manda, Peak Yuen-Mun and HooLi. We had drinks..without alcohol. Just rootbeer and 100plus.

Feasted. Had spaghetti, KFC, loads of dishes with potatoes. Marshymellows and banana dipped in melted Cadbury chocolate. Sean, manda's brother is going to be a succesfull chef in the future. He cooks extremly well. And Chang (manda's maid) is so adorable and looks like shrek.

Cooked. Messed up Manda's kitchen. Ate. Tortured her dogs (Puffy, GusGus, Dingo). Played Twister (suggested by Laine as always)

It was great fun. The highlight of the night was that Gus Gus was interested in Nickie. That furry dog mounted on Nickie's leg and attempted to mate with her leg. *shrugs* It was rather a disgusting sight!

I got a new SWATCH!

Went Midvalley with Nickie and Woon Yee by train.

Yee got a bobby hair cut or perhaps very rihana-ish. *when the sun shine, we'll since together* Nickie and i sang the Umbrella song the whole day long just to annoy Yee. But she look pretty with that hair style though i might not agree with bobbish cut.

Watched Rush Hour 3 in a small cinema at GSC. I complained and wanted to see the 2.15pm show to get into the bigger hall but Nickie disagreed! the company was kinda lame cause the rest aint really english educated. It seems like only Nickie, Yee and I laughed out extremly loud at the appropriate scences.

We got the tickets at about 11am. Ate loads with Nickie at the food court. Bought stuff. Eyed on cute english and japanese guys. Bought hotdogs, jellies, fries, coke for the movie. *filled*

Meet mama and sent Nickie+Yee to the train station.

Mother bought Scholl shoes for comfort cause her heels were aching.

Then headed to swatch. Picked. Tried. Thought. Picked. Tried again. Tought really hard. Paid for the watch! *grins widely*

Visit from Father's friends

I'm TIRED!!

Been packing and packing and cleaning and packing. It's worst than Chinese New Year.. (at least i get to receive ang pau..)

Father had some friends over today to visit him since he's kinda sick. There were about 1o of 'em. All of 'em are from prudential which includes the ever so famous Mr. Goh.

Yesterday..

So, this concludes that i had to pack the house the whole of yesterday! Without you (Jie), i had to work harder. And we cleaned up the back store room which was filled with live cockroaches with rat shit and urine. Sounds appetizing eh? *laughs* So i helped father sort out the things and then washed the floor with dettol.. (a must!)

I was coughing and my nose was blocked. Cleaning a room with a rat-ish stench. (ratatouille still sounds good?) So yea, i couldn't breath. Half dead. no. DEAD.

Slept a lil after dinner and started packing the living room when i realised my sister left her stuff lying all over the place. Practically i was just packing her stuff. See how helpful you were Jie! But then again that wouldn't be a prob since i'm willing to pull down the stars from the skies above just for you. No trouble cleaning up your stuff.

Today..

I almost died in my sleep for my nosie was still blocked. Father woke me up early to help him carry cartons of stuff. He's so excited that he managed to pack his things and made the house look alot better.

If you know my father well enough, he doesnt bother to clean the house for guests.. well..except for HIS own guests. It's a surprise actually, Jie.. You should have been here to witness.

So being a living zombie (manda, i prefer zombie than rubber ducky/tortoise), i crawled around the house trying to sort things out. For real! I didn't have the energy to stand up straight.

Around 4pm, the troop came in. 4 ladies, 6 men.

Mother and I served them drinks, biscuits, fruits, hong-tau-sui (red bean water?soup?)

Then they suggested to have dinner together. My jaws dropped wide open. They wanted to bring us for vegetarian dinner. *eww* and i'm feeling under the weather.. *sigh* so i went along and it was cool. but i still dont agree with me together with vegetarian.. (no offence)

By the end of the day, I'm glad, even after feeling like crap, that father is finally helping us out in house cleaning.

Btw, we're going out tomorrow!! whee.. Nickie messaged me and planned for a movie outing. Another great reason not to study for mathematics and EST!

My day started bright or i think so.

Slept at 4am last night watching The Mummy while munching on microwaved potatoes.

Woke up at around 7.45am. Switched on the computer and accidentaly fell asleep.

Mother came in and asked me how to get online when i actually taught her a couple of times.

Got angry but woke up and went online just to see if Jie's there. (see Jie..that's how they always react!)

Father went out for medical treatment on his eyes.

I stayed at home. Waiting. And waiting. More waiting.

And ta-daa! BABY SISTER came online! talked to her thru webcam. Had laughs. She was really really excited being able to get things cheap at Wal Mart.

Talked and yapped until 3-ish. Real hungry. Havent had lunch. Jie was sleepy cause it's 2am at the States.

Watched The Mummy Returns. Went out for dinner and bought a new computer mic for RM 25 *wonders if it's worth it*

Father, mother and myself gathered at the computer at 10.30pm to wait for Jiejie to get online. She did and we talked for about 2 hours. Father is extremly happy about it. Not paronoid anymore but they stil bugged me. (take note of this Jie)

The day was kinda tiring. Tried to stay online whole day cause Jie was expected to reach midnight (States) and noon (Malaysia). Parents went out for medical treatment. Mother got a sudden operation on her feet. But no worries Jie, it's just a minor one done by Dr. Zhang. *shrugs*



Watched National Treasure.


Came back online.


Had fights.


Wished i was back in my childhood moments.


Jie called and told us she landed safely at about 11pm. Parents were dead worried and started to panic.
Kept on pastering me to stay online. That's the 1st!


Just glad Jie has reached and got a nice room.




It's already 2.30am Malaysia time and 1pm, States and yet dearest Y Ji is not seen around yet. *sighs* I don't like this feeling this.

YES selection camp

Just came back from Youth Exchange and Study program (YES) selection camp.

The 2 days, 1 night camp was great. I felt proud when they announced that out of 600 students, only we 55 students got shortlisted for this camp. *proud* The camp was at Singgahsana Hotel, Petaling Jaya. (dont blame me for staying at the hotel, they named it camp)

We had another one-to-one interview. Mine was today (2nd day). It was nerves breaking!
While we waited for the rest to go through their interview, we had games. The returnees- Divan, Charlie, Dina, Burn and Ya Tyng (and those not mentioned too) were there with us throughout the camp and they were the ones to organize the games for us.
Unfortunately my group members kinda sucked..er.. i meant kinda shy and quiet.
Group leader, Cheng Chong was ever so slow and blur.. *gosh* but then again we were good cause we were the leading team until the end. Which meant we got 3rd placing..


I was the 2rd from Selangor to be interviewed. There were 3 interviewers-and they were great cause they didnt attack me like they did to the rest. *grins*

Knocked. Stepped into the room. Showed them my certificates of achievements. Introduced myself. Smiled. Talked.

That kind of the whole process. I meant they didn't bombarded me with questions like i expected they would. Those few questions that i remembered were:

are you very involved in comunity services under girl guides

where are you siblings now

where is your sister studying currently

what's your ambition

do you know actually what is the YES program

so basically, i wasn't attacked. *jumps*

Had a few more activities before 2p.m, packed and had buffet lunch.

Spread our lucks. Said our goodbye. And left.

Slept in the car. And when i woke up, i felt extremly miserable cause i thought of you, Jie..

I was so worked up to think of Jie leaving to the States. But reaching home reminds me deeply of her..

She just left tokyo at 1600 hour.

Miss yea!
