Paint for Peace

Once again I went out. Last Saturday to Jusco Cheras Selatan, today to 1Utama. I suppose you can predict what I'm doing next Saturday now, can't you?

After Chemistry tuition, mother drove down to PJ. Went down to participate in the Paint For Peace event. A event in promoting peace and to encourage people to sign the peace petition, thus also promoting AFS Intercultural Programs.

The event is held at the Ground Promenade of 1Utama new wing. A very large banner was placed on the floor. The AFS volunteers (in blue) was busy all day explaining and encouraging people to take part in signing the petition. All the society have to do is just enter their names and respective countries! Do support and promote peace. Please be apart of this by simply signing the petition. Just click http://www.exchanges4peace.org/

I went there to join them around 4pm. Met Melissa, Danial, Yah Tyng, Dina, Burn, Nambee and a few others. I offered help and Melissa told me to do Face Painting. And I did. Sat at the booth from 6pm-9pm. Painting peace logo, peace sign, angels, hearts and peace dove throughout the whole thing. The rest were handling out balloons, brochurs, prizes and allowing the public (shoppers) to sign the petition. Those who sign the petition are also encouraged to paint their palms and leave a mark on the big 'PEACE' banner. Nippon sponsored their new odourless paint for us to use. *cheers* This paricular banner will be brought to New York during the United Nation meeting and it will be shown to the rest. Hence, if you want to your mark so that it can be shown and brought to France, be there tomorrow.

It was cool. Some got really excited signing the petition and children got excited over me using crayons to draw stuff on their bare skin. *smiles*

The event will still be on tomorrow, 30 Sept 07. So, you guys can go over to 1Utama and participate in this event. Parents permission? No worries, just tell em they can do a lil shopping while to go over to the AFS booth. *winks* briliant eh? Most mothers would fall for that. It's for a good course anyway. Do not hesistate to join the AFS volunteers. It's from 10am-10pm.

FYI, Malaysia current standing for the petition online signing is second highest, 8693 people, right below Thailand.

Have fun!

Mid-autumn festival.

Yes. I was alone on the night when moon was the fullest.

No. I did not play with candles nor hang lanterns around my house.

Yes. I felt miserable for not making friends with the sons and daughters of my neighbours. Hence, I could only hear their laughters and not join them. *sigh*

I could not study feeling terrible. Took my camera out to the garden to take pictures. *laughters still can be heard from my neighbours*

I swear to MUST celebrate mid-autumn festival with Jiejie next year.

Fear..? ain't nothing but a bunch of taps on the keyboard

If real friends were oxygen, I would have suffocated by now.

If pain was deep waters, I would have drowned before I could suffocate.

If fear in my heart represented each tab on the keyboard, IBM or Bill Gates have got to invent more words&numberings.

If stress and heavy loads on my chest ain't nothing else but rocks, we are back in the Stone Age.

If those who supported me and understood my pain through this rough times are flowers, Nicole.C would be a blooming sunflower.

If the ones I love to bits are the feathers in my pillow, there would be only three, Y Ji, pa and ma.

St. John's Area Sports

The St.John had their are sports today in Convent school field. We, Wey Lu, Sook May, Xue Er and myself, was invited to be the volleyball referee by Amanda and Sue Reen.

The sales were pathetic by the way. And Ya Ying didn't allow guides to set up a store. Think twice I may suggest?

The 1st event was athletics. Who won? Convent. Why? Cause they used Kalai and as we all know, she flies! Evil plan of NC4-ies.
Basketball 3on3 competition was on when I reached school. Leelian ain't like her usual self somehow.

After that we put up the net and got everything ready.

1st match- Jalan Bukit vs High School

2nd match- Convent vs Jalan Bukit

3rd match- no match actually, Perimbun walked over

4rd match- Perimbun vs Jalan Bukit

*winners for the match

Weren't any foul play nor dirty players. So it was easy being the referee.

During game intervals, most off us would step into the court to whack the ball.

Was playing halfway when some dude came up to us to sell muffins. *hmmph* One of them was like "Come buy our muffins. Buy ler.." We were "ehehe, no thanks." He then looked at me and said, "Wai Quai. Wai Quai. Selling for one ringgit" and he laughed. I froze and then smiled because I didn't know who he was or at least can't remember. As for my usual encounter with unknown people, I pretended I knew him and answered I was thirsty and prefered to have a drink than to eat some muffins.

He shocked me again by saying, "can eat until got juice then not thirsty lor." I could not respond anything else but gave him another smile. *geez-berweez*

Avin came before going to tuition. *wonders* really thin now. Just hope that she's not influenced by her 'friends' to be anorexic.

Victory by NC4: (according to what I knew)
Volleyball- a lil dissapointed in their performance
Basketball
Netball
Tug-a-war
Passing baton-not so sure

It was fun. I turned bright pink at the end of the day due to the sun. Will be dark tomorrow.

Went down PJ wiht parents. The rest of the day was full of fear and sadness. Don't ask.

Ps: sorry to that bloke whom I've forgotten about
Ps2: Convent school volleyball players got to really train harder!

PAINT FOR PEACE

Friday, September 21 is the International Day of Peace*. On this day, millions of people worldwide will in some way recognize the need to continue working towards peace. It represents a wonderful opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of Peace on a shared date. With this in mind, we have sent an e-blast to everyone that signed the petition and invited him or her to continue supporting the petition by getting personal notes to people they know, inviting them to go to http://cts.vresp.com/c/?AFSInterculturalProg/becdad7e49/TEST/e7255c33ca and sign the petition in support of a global expansion of youth exchange programs.

We also highlighted the World Peace Forum that will be held at Columbia University in New York City on Saturday, October 27th in New York City. We invite everyone take part in this historic event, presented featured speakers and asked them to spread the word to other people who might be interested in attending. World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is also a co-sponsor for this event.

And so father operation was okay. According to mother, there some kind of liquid that's coming out from his eyes. (now I'm worried-doesn't mean you have to worry, Jie) Haven't got the chance to visit him yet. Mother took off from school. Pn. Pushpa wanted to send me back and so she did. Came on and stuck my face to the computer screen the whole day.

Got into facebook finally under the influence of Jiejie. I think I'm going to get a lil addicted to it. But then again, SPM!

Geez.

Special thanks to those who asked about father. And also to Nickie whom gave me a little hug in school. Means something.

Jiejie's constantly having test. So we're having sister bonds somehow? Both having the need to study. Hmph..

*sulk*

I have history test tomorrow and I don't want to study. *shrugs* After all the trials and gerak gempur, monthly test seems really tiny.

Came home and went on making mash potatoes for my friends tomorrow since it's thursday, it'll be my turn.

Mother went off to UM hospital cause father is going to be admitted in the hospital tonight. The doctors insist since his surgery is going to be early tomorrow morning. It's an eye surgery.

Let me give you a wild image?

Sharp invisible lasers cut your iris. Suck your lens out. And pump a new lens in. through a tiny tube, pretend as a glass tube in the labratory. And also suck the harden block of blood that's blocking his vision.

*laughs*

make me want to tear someone's mouth. Any volunteers? It'll be great. I promise.

Oh wait. *sigh*

I'm real worried for SPM now which according to the stupid board Convent headmistress made, it's two months left to do all the mastering of additional mathematics, attempting to memorise islam facts, not forgetting the science ones. Sorry to remind all the 17-iens about that, no worries, its two months. A very looooong time!

Geez. A lil' support and inspiration would really help now. *sulk*

Try being more civilised!

Once again my day wasn't very productive.

the clouds were beautiful on the way back

When to Jusco Cheras Selatan. Actually my first time there. It was better than i expected, but Kajang people really have low mentality. I mean they are real 'kia su'. Quoting an event, this lady around 20-30 ies, was pulling the clothes and grabbing everything in sight just because it was 70% off. Come on. Is there a need to be that desperate? Another event, Jusco had some scratch-and-win contest. The people were pushing, ain't queing up and parking their trolley at the middle of the pathway. *scoff*

Anyway, main purpose I was there was to get a new microwave. The old one is doesn't heat up anyway, but the oven still works. Which means if I don't get a new one. I won't be able to make Jacket Potatoes. Knowing me, that will suck. Ended up getting a Samsung digital microwave which was advertised on the newspaper. Now I can eat more. *jumps*

tadaa!

Humanity

Went for dinner at Kum Tee near my place. Suddenly there was this little boy screaming. Turned around and saw the owner carrying a boy, maybe age 4years, and pulled his pants down, revealing everything to his friends+crowd. The boy was crying desperately and the owner laughing heartily.

I was disgusted! Later on, the father of the boy went next door and bought him a cup of jelly. The boy looks happy after that. Which make it a negative feedback. Young minds will work it out as he got rewarded after the pants being pulled down by others. Which makes i something like, "get voilated and I'll be rewarded". It's sickening! The boy might forget everything later on. But as an adult, you're a perverted scumbag to even to such a thing to a young child no mater he likes it or not.

Mother then told me that a primary Convent teacher did something almost similar to the student before. The standard 3 student forgotten to bring their pants to change for PE lessons and she had them wearing the white blouse and only their underwear to run around the field.

This is how society is becoming. Do no voitale the children eventhough they're clueless. These people aren't human enough, willing to do these unspeakable things.

It's a big deal! Stop doing such perverted things. *gerrr*

Jiejie has updated her blog.

Had Gerak Gempur this whole week. *shrugs*
The group had came up with something like bringing food for each other according to their respective days.
Monday-Wyee. She brought Tuna sandwiches
Tuesday-Manda. Eggs with Nachos
Wednesday- Laine. Home-made Brownies
Thursday- Me. Only had time to make Pineapple jellies
Friday. Nickie. Her low cholesterol 'oh chen'
Wonder what to make next week?
I was busy the whole week trying to settle all the forms for the AFS application which results in no preparation for the exams. Mother told me to take it as an exercise, so did Nickie. Thus, i went to school on Thursday with ZERO knowledge on Physics and still had time to make lil jellies for my lil poopies.
On Monday, I sat for Moral Studies earlier and went off to the hospital after recess for a TB test required in the forms. It was cool.. the doctor drew some kind of circle around the injection spot and if the result was to be positive, it would swell bigger than the circle. That could be seen on Wednsday.
Tuesday was just kind of random.
Moving on to Wednesday, I had Chemistry I and II. Had a one hour break in between both paper, barely giving me time to rush to the hospital to check on the TB test result and back again for paper 2. The result was negative of course. Messaged Danial, he's having his check up too.
Went back home and started completing every single detail needed in the forms. Had to rush to the photostat shop by 9.00 to get a copy of everything before handling it up on Thursday, 13 Sept when the deadline is 17 Sept. Had dinner at 10.00pm which made my stomach grumble terribly. This states that I took the whole day doing only that and off to bed with the Jellies ready for my poopies.
Thursday-Doomed for Physics but turned out to be rather a ' not-very-stressed' situation. *smiles*
Peak Mun smugged at her very small accomplishment. Someone save that girl.
Friday-Just had fun laughing. Took picture for the Editorial Board. Junli, Syazleena and me were fiddling with the camera. Talked to Joo Ann a lil while Mother had meeting. She miserable and thinks that the whole world hates her. Poor girl. *sighs* Which also results in me having to advise her and spend a lil more time with her.

Finished reading the Private series til the fourth book (introduced by Nickie). Josh is sooo innocent and sweet. Nickie he can't be yours. You've already one.
the stack of forms-done

the 1st thing my host family and the rest will have the image of me. Good? No?

Was told by Kean Jie that I am his close friend now. That's nice. *laughs*

I still miss Jie heaps. Even the shampoo I+Her used reminds me of her. I need comforting.

Celebrating nothing-ness

School had Merdeka celebration. Only before recess.

My mother is good at pursuading students. We can't have graduation in fancy hotels. So when she suggested a really authentic one in the school during the night time, the form 5 girls were screaming out of joy. I suggest them to go for camp-outs. Oh well, just hoping to blow the night off! laine,nickie,manda,yee..

After recess we had classes and some real stupid teacher did not want to accept the word rekindles the glowing splint cause it's not scientific enough. Alternative? Girls, you should use lights up the the glowing splint.
Geez.. Someone tell me which is a more scientific word?!

after school, went to Pizza Hut but they were out of dough because it seems Jalan Bukit teacher were feasting there. Hence, we just stepped over to KFC for our 5 Zamrud class party. It was real pathetic. Eventually, we didn't talk much and just gobble down the food.

Went home and it was raining heavily. Instead of studying, I switch on the Tv and started to watch Casper (my childhood favourite movie!). It's ever soooo sweet.

see nickie singing happily behind? *points*

they make good friends.

the happy and joyful ones in the class.

both my adorable pooppies

Ps: 4 Intan can sing much better.no offence to the rest. strumming+choir don't go together. plucking yes.but strumming no no.

*sighs*

i'm off filling more forms.
