Field Trip USA- the Favourite TV Program

SHOUT! Awards is specially dedicated to give recognition to those who have made great impact and creative breakthroughs in Malaysian music, film, TV and radio. A first-of-its-kind awards show for these four industries, it aims to reward the most-deserving artists, actors, radio and TV faces, giving voice to all Malaysians to define the new cool.

Spanning 16 categories altogether with a total of 5 nominations in each, all nominations submitted will be determined by a panel of judges consisting of tastemakers and veterans representing the broadcast, music and film industry. Following which, the rest will go into the public’s hands, where they will be called to vote for their favorite personalities online on our website.

Hendra got us seating tickets for the Shout Awards. Sat with Syera and Paul then later on joined the rest where the nominees sat.

There were loads of performances and best yet, Sean Kingston sang 3 songs! I was just about 5 rows behind where he stood. It was great. Field Trip USA, in which filmed the adventures of 8 exchange students that were sent to America under AFS, was nominated for 3 categories.

We won the Favourite TV Program! Yes Field Trip USA won. So happy and proud of Hendra, Qi, Alet, Syera, Andrew, Joe, Danial, Shaaleni, Syazwanny, Solleh and Sherilyn. It was awesome and it's amazing we won. There was no pretends, no acts but everything was just an adventure even for Qi himself. I am hoping through this, AFS could be more well known as for it is a really good program.
Being apart of this program and gaining the experience I did during my stay in Maine, I truly encourage everyone to be involved with AFS. Either being an exchange student or even as a volunteer. Visit www.afs.org for more details.

The few of us who went to the Shout Awards tagged along for the after party with all the other local artists. Was kinda bummed Sean Kingston was not there. *sulk* But it was all fun and we got a couple of pictures.

Right on.
Nickie is gone. My little finger is in the process of fixing itself.
More tests coming up. Finals is in less than a month time.
Can't drive. Takes me years to finish up my assignments.
Life is boring me. And it's summer now.

The days are looking rather gloomy.
I need spices. I need more passion.

the Society, the God.

I used to think that life was how we want it to be.
I always think that my life freaking rock because I made it that way with the decisions I stayed true to.

Then, my life turned around. There isn't passion in life anymore.
Everything evolves around decisions.
Everything evolves around decisions concerning society.

We are all tied to the society.
How pretty, how smart, how capable you are,
It all depends on the society.

Why does it have to be that way?
People often say, just don't bother too much about what others think.
No! you can never do that.
Society judge you! Everyone plays the role of the God.
Everyone knows that they are the best and have every right to criticize,
That's what they think, in their tiny pea mind.

Why are others so hard on different individual?
I thought.

Could it be that it is true?
Could it be that they are jealous?
Could it be that I am a horrible person?

I landed on a thought.
They are insecure.
The whole society is insecure.
The prime way to make them feel better about themselves is to step onto others.
Belittle others then shall they feel more superior.

It is true to everyone.
Why judge? why give others a hard time?
Why not advise and have empathy?

That is why life is how it is. Formed purely by Society.
Nothing but Society.
Individuals who confirm are the best.

An individual on my own.

Politics and what's not. Jealousy and what's not. Everyone is just very self-centered.

Go volunteer in SPCA or something! You'll probably learn 10million values than you'll ever have.

attitute problem

I think people should do something about their attitude problem. As long as I've been observing, everyone has some kind of attitude. But those with extreme attitude problem..they should do something with it. Because sooner or later, they're gonna get on somebody's nerves and get into deep trouble. It works that way.

Even in the past week itself, I've faced these people full of bad attitude.

#1 I'm all that
Yes. We've seen this sort of people around. A bunch of them. 'Yes I know you've done that and yes I know you're ALL THAT GREAT'. But guess what? friends hate braggers and someone who is full of ego. What is the point of being so great when you don't even have the sense of empathy and couldn't care less about the achievement of others?

This kind, they live in the world of their own with maybe a few worshipers. (or that's what THEY think)

#2 the BOSS
I am not pinpointing people who are bossy. It's just those who think that they have the ULTIMATE power over everything. There is a phrase in Chinese, "a chicken feather being treated as a phoenix's feather". I probably don't do too well in translating and it does sound better in Chinese but what it really means is that, a person is only given some power over decision making but practically that person acts as if she/he is the BOSS.

No no. You can't do that. Lead, not dictate!


#3 The-world-is-crushing-onto-me Kind

The label says it all. For this kind, catastrophe always happen onto them. If earthquakes breakout, it only happens to them. If a meteor lands, it only landed onto their house. Everything bad and horrible that happens, happens only onto them and NOBODY else!

Must I emphasis that others around the world are facing worst problem?!
