sisterly love

Done with finals for this semester.
Odd thing is, mom's been out for 2 days, enjoying herself and me being a teen, I'm here at home, wondering and facing the computer.
Well, resorted to watching the series of Heroes.

Jie called and we stayed on the phone for some time. Planning on how the apartment would be like when I finally get to there. Planning to cook for her and go out for shopping sprees. Describing how fun it would be to get a car together. Head down to host family's for Christmas. And hoping that that will all happen when I get there next year.

I miss her and can't wait to get there!

It holds lots of possibilities but in the same time, I will admit that I'm very much afraid.
Guess I'll just deal with it then.

Birthday's up next. Hoping I won't go all nostalgic. *sighs*

Skating buds

Advise? If you don't having any friends who know how to skate, don't go skating. It's a total waste of money! Of course unless, you're with Nickie, Joe, Yee and Arthur. RM23 it a total con. It's not like you can stand in those skates for that long anyway.

Don't get tempted!

Don't go shopping with Yi Wei and Arthur too! They try to get you to buy stuff. Really.

happy mama's day!

happy mama's day to all women who have been through 9 months of cravings and eternal headaches. *whopss*

Woke up late cause aunt and cousins were around. Ma went swimming and had breakfast with 'em. I just slept. :)

Had mother's day lunch at some restaurant in Semenyih. Then to the temple in Broga. With the heat we're facing these days, I doubt I could survive any longer being outside of a air conditioned room slash car. *grunts* Anyway, took loads of picture in the temple.

Drove down to KL, went to mids, got stuff and had dinner there.

the attempts

money is below us.

Happy mother's day to Mom in Maine too! I tried calling but it went to voicemail. Missing you. hugs.

Off day for everyone!

Nehehe. Drove back home early in the morning from college. Yes, 9am is early for me!
Momsie cooked some awesome Kai Lan porridge, ate 2 bowls and fell asleep.

Went to midvalley like everyone else did. Bought stuff. Drove home and ate porridge again..! *drools* The traffic jam wasn't bad. So it was a fun day out, since I haven't been spending much time with her.

The new semester is starting in 2 days. Urgh.. Not too psyhed about it. I miss hanging out with Nickie and Yee.

*moodless*

royale.not.

Yes. The Queenzie (change all Queenzie to ze duchess as requested by her Majesty?) to the is heading back to Aussie, hence outings together are compulsory. Even if no one is leaving, we have to hang out.
Took KTM to midvalley as the Queenzie (remember the chance to Ze duchess) whines since traveling in a car has become a norm for her. Ate lunch, got mad at Manda and took chinesey new year pictures of Nickie.
Hung out at Brewball and had our usual fun laughs.

More pictures if I ever get them from the Queenzie (here too) and ze Princess, tag Nickie as it.

Bangsar outs with Nickie

Went to Bangsar with Nickie to hunt for dresses. Drove to her house and went there in her black Myvi. Will.i.am have rocking out songs. Black Eyed Peas just never run out of season.
Going back to the topic, we had Madam Kuan's for lunch and roamed the street. Camwhoring is a must.

Soulja Boy..crank it yo... .... superman..

*pouts*

Got kinda bored and went to Midvalley. Twas productive. Got couple of things done. Had a blast laughing out loud at random fitting rooms. Judging whether fatty layers were oozing out or not.
Watched The Day The Earth Stood Still. Had so many movies the past few days that I will not watch anything in the cinema for awhile now. Unless of course someone wants to watch Space Chimps with me since Nickie doesn't like cartoons.

We were early for the movie. Took pictures lavishly with no shame.

Got back to Nickie's and realised that Laine just got back from Aussie. Called Yee and got her to drive to Saujana Impian to head to Sungai Long together. Hung out and play cards in Oldtown while I consumed more food. Followed by trashing Laine's house at 12am.

Welcome back Laine.

Ikea with Andrew and Nickie

Yes.I do have moments when I like to blog continuously for a few days and sometimes never update for a very long time.

Anyway, since Nickie's precious went to the Philippines, we have been going out more often. Went out with Andrew the other day to The Curve. Wanted to catch a movie at Cineleisure. Saw The Lakeview Terrance. Damn racist movie, didn't really enjoy it.

Dropped by Ikea to get Aunt's Shireen's rug and Nickie's elephant blankie. It was rather tiring for Andrew to walk around with crutches (tore somefink during martial arts practice), went to the Concierge and got them those funky machine which he can drive around the mall.

Nickie seem to have a blast. "Say my name! " *slaps slaps* (totally inside joke)

conclusion is, everyone was happy!

yes i was pretty excited

trays of food, don't judge

New York City

And so being in US, we had to go to New York City, which we did. I went with the YES AFS group last week. IT was with Mike, Hana, Lyle, Germaine, Aajra and Aini. It was great fun. *duh*

I took loads of pictures but would not be able to upload it all for this post, hence it will be in my facebook, hopefully if i'm not too busy.

We took a 10 hours bus ride down.

The 1st morning, we went up to the Empire State building. The view there was amazing, need i say more. We could see about the whole of Manhantan being up there, all the way to liberty island.

We then walked around town and made our way to the Rockefella Centre, Wall Street and Liberty Church. Walked passed the Trump World tower and headed to the United Nations Headquaters.
Since we went there in this AFS group, it meant a lot, in terms of interculture and peace. The UN guide had fun because this group had more variety, since i'm from Malaysia, some from Germany, Indonesia, India and the Phillipines.
Later on that night, we went to Times Square, which was amazing too. Shopped a lil there; Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe, Billabong and other really awesome shops.

A couple was taking marriage picture in Times Square.

Next day, went to Ground Zero (WTC), then to the AFS main Headquaters. WE were so welcomed there. Excahnge students hardly got the chance to visit them, hence they were really excited to see the group of us. We had pizza and spoke to them for a long time.

After that, went to visit The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Very excited to be there, the attraction in New York.

Walked to Little Italy and Chinatown. Had Italian dinner. When we were in both those places, it doesn't feel like being in US anymore. It more like in Italy of China, seriously.

yeahs!

And the last day, we went to the Natural Musuem of History. Awesome place. Everything that was seen in the movie, Night in the Musuem flash through my mind.
Went to Central park and spent loads of time chilling there. Then the movie, Enchanted flashed through my mind. Lol.
Headed to the Musuem of Fine Arts and the movie, Thomas Crown Affair flash through this time. Geez. It was great great great fun!

Being in New York have completed my life. Lol.
reminds you of being dumb or chewing gum?

I do *heart* New York.
