Exams vs. Blogging

Interesting fact.
I realize that I'm hardly on the internet for long unless it's near the examinations week.
I'm so caught up with life itself and because of exams, I'm forced to sit down and study and yet here I am blogging, after forever not doing so.

It's weird I admit. But I guess I just don't fancy sitting down much.

And I figure I should stay online more often and read international news. Yes. New resolution.

xoxo.

Will it be the same?

Dover- Harvey's dog

My last day in Hampden. There will be a farewell party tonight.

I am in my room, about to be done packing to leave. We will have to met up with the rest of AFS Dirigo Maine kids tomorrow at 1pm.
Looking around, this room has been my comfort place and it feels terrible to have to leave and never come back. The time I spent here is enough to make me feel deeply attached. My host parents have been ever so understanding and supportive. The amazing friends here are, what more can I say, amazing. It sucks to have to bond so special to some of them and yet have to leave and having the chance not to ever meet again.

Yes, I may come back to visit and yet I might meet up with them. But by then things would have been different and my HA high school friends will be going down their different path. *sigh*
I have truly enjoyed myself here in Hampden and I feel rather emotional now.

Yet, I am excited to go home and hang out with my mother, the GGGs, close relatives and some others. I am too excited to get my driver's license and start college. So many changes in so little time makes me nervous. What if I no longer fit in in the GGGs, or what if people back home get shocked with the new me and expected different.

But watch out people, I'm coming back! *laughs silently*

ps: I love Hampden, ME!

More excitement!

First day of school was awesome. *jumps* Things around are so cool. But of course, I was very nervous. It's hard being in a new school when you're in Convent Kajang your whole life. Hampden Academy is a rather small school. There are only 800 students there. *wonders*

The 1st semester is about to end soon. The mid term exams are on the whole of next week. I'm only going to join in the classes next semester which would start after the mid terms. There are 7 exchange student in Hampden Academy including me. They are from Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria. Cool thing. We hang out together once awhile and there will be an AFS weekend next next weekend and we would go snow mobiling! *jumps*

It's freezing here. I like the snow though. It's so pretty. It is. We might have a snowday on Friday again.

Btw, the subjects that I might be taking next semester are:

Sociology
Photography
Beginning Food
US History
Creative Writting
Concert Choir
Percussion En Samble
American Popular Music

Us History and Creative Writting are complusory. Concert Choir is something really new for me for I don't sing. PercussionES is learning to play the drums. APMusic will be a class when we listen to songs and study about it. Cool eh? I know. And in Sociology, we have to make a baby out of flour and take care of it for a certain preiod of time.

Hampden Academy rocks!

I might try skiing soon too. And join tracks? Hmm.. that would be running. We'll see how.

My family is cool too if you must know. *grins*

More picture on Washington D.C soon. To all who wants to email me, do so to wquai@yahoo.com. Especially AFSer. Been wanting to hear more!

mess.and more mess

I'll be leaving to the States on the 9th of January 08.
So, I finally decided to pack up the mess in my study room. I'm not even half way through yet! I will continue another day? *sigh*
Went through some stuff. Quite sentimental stuff. It's hard for me to clear the things around cause those stuff reminds me of too many memories.

I realised that SPM students use loads of papers and books. Pity those trees. Maybe the idea of SPM ain't that good? *laughs*

last year

SPM will soon be here and the next moment, GONE.

Currently, I find studying rather enjoying. I seriously do. And I hate the fact that we are gonna leave school forever in one month time. *sulk* I cry at the thought of it.

Jia Ni's article on Convent spirit rocks while the 2007 Permata magazine..I find it rather dull and theme-less.

Anyway, Form 5ives of 2007, enjoy SPM and rock hard. Have fun.

Life's rude awakenings!

Chemistry quiz results came out and i got 42. Without a merit. Laugh all you want.
The worst is the results are pasted on the main board for everyone including XIN YAN for viewing pleasure. And now she's praising how smart her idol is!

Don't blame me for not freaking out when I didn't bother to read a thing for the quiz! And don't blame me for not being naturally smart, cause I can't just step into the exam hall without touching single nuts information and score a distinction! (the others did) *sigh*

envy.

Life leaves me with no options but:

1 Kill myself for not scoring well
2 Bury myself in the mountain of books not touched.

Options #2 sounds tough.. I might as well go for option #1.

I'm not happy with life's rude awakenings.

saying i love you?

Been practicing More Than Words.

We only have around 20days left before the 1st paper.

I have not master any subjects yet.

I'm longing to go skating.

Study group with the monkeys (nickie, mun, yuen) is filled with more words than facts.

Father kept on saying, "don't avoid, 10As depends on what you do now"

I am conscious of the time limit and the procrastination hence am trying to absorb facts with extreme wellness.

Jie's birthday in a week time.

*whines*

Ps: Her birthday is on 21st Oct. Go spam her cbox/inbox/ friendster/facebook with birthday messages.

Studies + Swimming +Eating

Had study group with Wei Sy&Qi, Sook May, Xue Er and Wey Lu again at 9am. I didn't do much cause was waiting for Nickie to come.

At 10am, only Manda and Nickie came. Did some practice for the performance. (accompanied by loads of kutuking) *shys* It was fun and all.

Lunch time
Nickie wanted to have KFC. As she was always the little baby girl, I had to agree to it. Lugged all the books, bags and guitar from Convent to the new KFC. *whines* Worst thing was, Nickie called the twins and they were already in McD, hence Nickie re-decides to go McD. Conclusion? I lugged everything back to McD which was neared to school. *sighs* Fault= Nickie and Peak Mun, not wanting to fetch us even though she had car!

As usual, ate loads. During lunch intervals, Nickie whacked my head with everything she could find, which includes fries, tissue paper, chili sauce, food debris, foldover carton box. We talked and laughed loudly, but mostly it was Nickie that screamed her lungs out.

After that, proceeded to study Add Maths together with Peak Mun&Yuen, Hooli and Nickie. Random kutuking once awhile. Last one hour, kutuk whole time through.

Planned for swimming after 6pm. Rained. Got stucked in twins' Kembara. Pathetic moment. Nickie got bored and shook the car, in diguse to strangers that 'something' was going on in the car. Mother came, asked Mr.Ong if we can swim. He allows but with the condition that we will run out of the pool if there's thunder. *laughs* Changed, jumped into the pool, did a few laps. And as usual, camwhoring the whole way through after that. It was laughable hanging out with them.

Ps: Lack of my picture cause it was my camera and Nickie does all the picture model. oh well.

study groupies

On Thursday had study group with Wei Sy&Qi, Sook May, Xue Er, Camilla, Wey Lu. Started at 9am til 1afternoon. *smiles* It was productive, we absorbed loads of information. Did Chemistry and Add Maths. At the end, took pictures will Camilla camera phone. *grins* Havent got it yet. Will upload later.

Randomness

Form 5s are off from school this whole week due to lack of classrooms for PMR. But i decided to join intensive class. Went to school on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday
Had 4periods of Physics and 4periods of Chemistry. Everyone had great laughes for Chemistry by mother.

Wednesday
Seeing the fact that staying at home would tempt me to eat more and sleep more. Wei Sy, Wei Qi and myself went to school to have additional maths exercises together. We brought board games too. Studying too much ain't good you know. It was good. We played only twice and concentrated on our work for the rest of the day.

Father cooked Japanese meal last night.

I'm making the most effort to study hard. Wasted some time messaging others and drawing stuff on my thighs.

Graduation confirmed to be held on October 27th in Metro Inn because according to survey done (as if) by the teacher in charge, most students voted for Metro Inn. (believable) *scoff* And they plan to have Co-curriculum Day on the same day. Mother ain't happy about it too. Imagine us walking around town after school being fancy and dressed up. *meh*

Reality whacked me hard on the face yesterday.Sorry to break your comfort zone, people. We're currently 33days from SPM. Great impact. Now I'm inspired to study.

In addition to that, I'm still missing jiejie. Had a random dream of her picking me up from school. *wonders*
